A branch of the Senior Adult Ministry at Mount Olive is known as the "Keenagers." They are always busy doing many of the things they never had time to do earlier in their lives. The Keenager Ministry is open to adults 55 years and older.

This group meets every third Thursday of the month at 11:00 a.m. to hear an informative speaker and to have lunch. In past programs, missionaries have spoken, Bible lessons have been presented, and health and Medicare consultants have shared their expertise. In addition, persons who are well known in the community will share their thoughts and experiences with the group.

Many Keenagers serve in a number of vital ministries within the church, such as teaching Bible classes, helping with VBS and the Fall Festival, and assisting the church staff. These senior saints have discovered that the secret of youthfulness is in serving other.

The Keenagers also enjoy fellowshipping with one another by taking day trips locally and over-night trips across the state and the Southeast.

After each program, lunch will be served for a cost of $5.00. A person who is not currently a member of Keenagers will need to make a lunch reservation through the church office.
